From Lost to Found: How Salvation Changes Everything

Introduction
Many people attend church, sing in the choir, and even serve faithfully…yet have never experienced the transforming power of salvation. Salvation isn’t about religion—it’s about relationship. It’s about being found by God, rescued from sin, and brought into new life through Jesus Christ.

1. Why We Need Salvation (Romans 3:23)

All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.

Sin separates us from God, leaving us lost and unable to save ourselves.

Church attendance and good works are not enough—only Jesus saves.

2. God’s Rescue Plan (John 3:16–17)

God loved us so much that He gave His only Son.

Jesus didn’t come to condemn us, but to save us.

Salvation is God reaching out to us with love, not us climbing up to Him.

3. What Happens When We Are Saved (2 Corinthians 5:17)

We become a new creation—the old life is gone, a new life has begun.

Salvation brings peace with God, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life.

It’s not just a future hope, but a present transformation.

4. How to Receive Salvation (Romans 10:9–10)

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.

This is the moment of turning from lost to found.

5. The Joy of Being Found (Luke 15:4–7)

Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents.

God’s love is personal—He leaves the 99 to come after you.

Salvation isn’t just about rules; it’s about God’s relentless love.

From lost to found—that’s the story of salvation. It’s not about religion, it’s about being rescued, renewed, and restored.
