When God Doesn't Answer The Way I Want Him TO Part I: God Is Still For Me

Romans 8:31 — “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Opening Thought:

Sometimes it feels like heaven is quiet. You’re praying, fasting, serving, giving
— doing everything the Bible says. But the answer hasn’t come. In those
moments, the enemy whispers, “Maybe God forgot you.” But the Word
declares, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”

1. God’s Silence Is Not His Absence
When God seems silent, He’s not ignoring you — He’s preparing something
you can’t yet see. His silence often means He’s setting the stage for a bigger
move.

Example: Joseph spent years in prison after doing right by God. But when the
time came, one moment in Pharaoh’s palace changed everything.

2. God’s "No" Is Sometimes a Higher

We often think an unanswered prayer means
God said “no.” But sometimes
His “no” is protecting you from something that would have hurt you.

Modern Illustration: A woman prayed for a specific job she thought was
perfect. She was devastated when she didn’t get it. Months later, the company
filed bankruptcy. What looked like rejection was really protection.

3. God’s Faithfulness Outlasts Our Frustration

We can’t let disappointment turn into disobedience. When things don’t go our
way, we must stay faithful.

Key Declaration: “I may not understand God’s plan, but I still trust His
purpose.”

Don’t give up praying. Don’t give up trusting. Don’t give up serving. God hasn’t
changed His mind about you — He’s still for you.
