When God Doesn’t Answer The Way I Want Him To Series Part II: God Heard You the First Time

Romans 8:31: “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Opening Thought:

Daniel prayed for understanding and waited 21 days before he saw
movement. But the angel told him, “From the first day you set your heart to
understand, your words were heard.” That means — the moment you prayed,
God moved.

1. Heaven Is Already in Motion

The delay is not denial — it’s spiritual traffic. Sometimes there’s warfare
between your prayer and your answer.

Modern Illustration: Have you ever tracked a package that said “out for
delivery” for three days straight? You know it’s coming, but it’s delayed.
That’s how prayer works sometimes — heaven already shipped it, but it
hasn’t reached your doorstep yet.

2. Keep Praying Until It Breaks Through

Prayer isn’t about begging God; it’s about staying connected until what’s in
heaven manifests on earth.

Biblical Example: Elijah prayed for rain — not once, but seven times. Each
time, the servant came back saying, “I see nothing.” Yet Elijah kept praying,
and on the seventh time, a small cloud appeared.

3. The Enemy Tries to Weaken the Waiting

The devil’s goal is to make you quit before the blessing arrives. Don’t let delay
make you doubt.
Key Declaration: “Just because I don’t see it yet doesn’t mean God hasn’t sent
it.”

Keep praying. Keep expecting. God heard you the first time — the blessing is
still on the way.
